Renegade Web Design and Arkansas Computer Enterprises proudly present...

RWA Episode 129
The Renegade Arena
St. Louis, Missouri

Mid American champion- Eddie Gilbert

Southern Champion- Tully Blanchard

Mid American Tag Team Champions- Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams

RWA Television champion- Black Tiger

*we are shown highlights from last week’s episode to the tune of “Renegade” by Styx. We then go to ringside with Lance and Larry*

Lance- Hello and welcome once again to RWA on HBO. Lance Russell and Larry Matysik joining you live from ringside here in St. Louis. We’ve got one hell of a show this week.
Larry- Yes we do. Recently, Tully Blanchard scored a major win over former world champion Rick Rude. Tully took it a step further when he challenged another former world champion last week. Not just any world champion. He challenged Maxx Payne to meet him here this week. As you can guess, Maxx accepted. That’s our main event. In addition, we have an interesting 4 way dance that involves Gangrel, Jeff Hardy, Perry Saturn, and Hayabusa. The winner of the match will earn a Mid American tag title match for his team, which will take place next week.
Lance- We’ve got that and more. Dave Brown is here conducting interviews. Doing the intros is Mickey Garagiola. He’s standing by with our opening bout.

Mickey- Wrestling fans, we are the Renegade Wrestling Alliance. All matches today are sanctioned by the UWF. Our opening bout is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Charleston, West Virginia weighing 218 pounds, CALVIN SEALS!!! His opponent, from Minneapolis weighing 215 pounds, VERNE GAGNE!!!

CALVIN SEALS
vs
VERNE GAGNE

Verne owns the unknown Seals. Verne wins with the Sleeper.

winner-Verne Gagne
Match time- 5:12

*after the match, Dave Brown joins Verne in the ring*

Dave- Verne, welcome to RWA.
Verne- Well Dave, Verne Gagne’s been in this business for quite some time. Verne’s seen some things and done more. Verne Gagne has been hearing for a while that RWA is the place to be. Well Verne Gagne still has what it takes. With the fans support, we’ll find a way. Remember the code. Stay the course.
Dave- I’m not sure I follow….
Verne- That’s OK. Thanks Dave.

*Verne leaves Dave looking puzzled*

Larry- That was….odd.
Lance- Verne is an all time great. Not sure what he was talking about there. Up next, we’ve got the ladies in action. Bull Nakano is here taking on a wrestler that is bigger than her in the monster that is Matilda the Hun.
Larry- The UWF rankings recently came out and Nakano was ranked as the #2 contender to Sara Del Ray’s world title. Bull has really stepped her game up lately.
Lance- But now she faces a woman she does not have a size advantage over. This one’s gonna be a doozie. Let’s go to the ring with Mickey.

Mickey- Our next match is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Running Springs, California weighing 300 pounds, MATILDA THE HUN!!! Her opponent, from Kawaguchi, Japan weighing 209 pounds, BULL NAKANO!!!

MATILDA THE HUN
vs
BULL NAKANO

The two women circle cautiously, sizing each other up. They hook up and Matilda shoves Nakano across the ring. Bull gets to her feet with a very shocked look on her face. Matilda lets out a scream and charges in. Bull meets her and they trade clubbing blows. Matilda gets the advantage and hits a couple of body slams followed by an elbow for a quick two. Matilda hits a huge suplex on Nakano. She goes to the middle rope but misses a splash. Nakano locks a Scorpion Crosslock on Matilda, trying to get her to tap. Matilda’s weight is too much for Nakano to hold for long in that position and Nakano releases her. Nakano hits a big Lariat for two. Matilda ducks a second Lariat and hits a big boot. She positions Nakano for a Powerbomb. Nakano shows her strength by reversing it to hit the Poseidon. Nakano goes to the top rope and hits a Somersault Guillotine Legdrop for the pin.

winner-Bull Nakano
Match time- 9:14

Larry- Nakano gets a hard fought victory over the larger Matilda the Hun. Bull had to step it up a bit. But she showed that she is a top contender.
Lance- Sara Del Ray better keep a close eye on this one. Right now fans, Dave Brown is standing by in the back with H&H International members Eddie Gilbert and Tully Blanchard, along with Stephanie McMahon Helmsley and Baby Doll.

Dave- Tully, you’re in the main event tonight against Maxx Payne. There are those that say that challenging Maxx was not the best move.
Tully- What, you think I can’t beat him? Let me tell you something. There is a reason people like Maxx Payne get their clothes at K Mart while people like H&H International wear tailor made suits. Maxx Payne; with the story book career. The toughest guy in RWA, maybe even in the entire UWF. He started at the bottom and worked his way to the top. Well let me tell you something Maxx. You see, I have a story of my own. That story is that I am not some co-star, supporting character. Rick Rude thought that. And after one match in RWA, Rick Rude scurried away because he got shut up by yours truly. Like everybody else, he underestimated me. Tully Blanchard is the real deal. He is the elite of this business. That is why he is with H&H International. We wear the best clothes. We drive the best cars. As you can see, *Tully gestures towards Baby Doll and Stephanie* we have the hottest women. Other groups are content to talk the talk. But H&H walks they walk. The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. King Hot Stuff, I believe you have said proof?
Eddie- Absolutely. I want to bring your attention to this month’s rankings in UWF Monthly. These rankings are compiled by fans and promoters. *Eddie holds the magazine up and the camera zooms in on the page* Now look here in the heavyweight division. Dave Brown, who is the #1 contender?
Dave- It says Tully Blanchard.
Eddie- That’s right it says Tully Blanchard. Now, look in the Lightweight division. Who is the #1 contender?
Dave- You are.
Eddie- That’s right. I am. Not AJ Styles. Not Trash Holly. Not Brad Armstrong. ME. Look at the tag team rankings. Who is ranked #2?
Dave- Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez.
Eddie- The Dynamic Duo, baby. And it is a crime they are ranked behind the Coffee Cup tag champs. And that is an issue that will be rectified soon. RWA is on fire baby thanks to H&H International. We are even ranked in the six man division. So for the doubters, the nay sayers, and the haters, it just sucks to be you. Now, to the world champ Dynamite Kid. Lookit here Tea and Crumpets. You got by me and AJ Styles in a Ladder Match. Good for you. Now it’s time for you to face me one on one. You seem happy to only do that in non title matches, which I beat you in. It’s time to step up and be a champion. You’ve had a great run. Much better than anyone thought you would have done. You have far surpassed your former partner. Now, your time is finished. It would be so much easier on you if you would just walk off the stage and hand me that belt. But no. You want to do things the hard way. Well that’s fine. I will personally drag your bloody carcass off the stage. And then all will hail the ultimate world champion, King Hot Stuff, Eddie Gilbert. Dave Brown, this has been your pleasure.
Dave- Lets go back to the ring.

Mickey- This match is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Sedalia, Missouri weighing 342 pounds, OX BAKER!!! His opponent hails from the Bowery and weighs 244 pounds. This… is… RAVEN!!!

OX BAKER
vs
RAVEN

*Raven sits slumped in the corner for a while as Ox demands he get up. Raven holds his hand out, but no one is there to hand him a mic. Raven finally pulls himself up and yells for somebody to hand him a mic. He finally gets one and slumps back down*

Raven- I have waited ever so patiently. Sheamus O’Shaunessy, you have yet to accept my challenge. So now once again, I am out here, daring you to meet me on my terms: Raven’s Clockwork Orange House of Fun. You have been hiding, perhaps not from me, but from your own fears and short comings. For so long you chased the world title, finally catching it. Now that you have it, you hide behind it. For far too long, I have waited. I waited during reigns of men like George Wagner and The Rock and Maxx Payne and Rick Rude. There will be no more waiting. There will be no….

Ox goes over and starts stomping the hell out of Raven. He picks Raven up and hits a side suplex followed by an elbow drop for two. Ox hits a backdrop and calls for the Heartpunch. As Raven gets up, he slugs Ox in the gut and follows with an elbow across the back of the head. Raven hits a kneelift and covers for a quick two. Raven stomps Baker a few times. Ox slowly starts getting up. Raven rakes the eyes and goes for a body slam. Ox drops a few quick elbows to Raven’s ribs and body slams him. Raven slides out of the ring to catch his breath. While he is circling the ring, UWF World champ Sheamus O’Shaunessy jumps the rail and DRILLS Raven with a Bicycle Kick. This gets Raven a DQ win.

winner-Raven (via DQ)
Match time- 6:22

*as the bell rings, Sheamus throws Raven in the ring and hits the FRH! Sheamus gets a mic*

Sheamus- Ya freak. You think I’m afraid of ye? Ye better get your act together, fella. I’m the UWF World Heavyweight champion. And you? Yer an afterthought. You’re a freakshow who think his trash style can beat me. I dunno what a House of Fun match is, but I ain’t afraid of noothin’. Ye just got a bad case of The Irish Curse, boy-o.

Lance- Well, the world champ is in the house, and he has accepted Raven’s challenge. We’ll see that match somewhere down the line I am sure. Right now Dave is in the back with Nicholas De Vannes.

Dave- Commissioner, we’ve got some exciting things coming up soon, as well as some new faces.
De Vannes- Yeah. The draft from last month scored us some new names, including one that will debut next week, Roddy Piper. Last week, Jake Roberts was here. Jake tells me he has no designs on a Plague reunion. But with Jake, nothing is ever certain. The tag team scene here in RWA is on fire once again, just as I like it. We have that four way dance coming up next…..

*Adam Copeland walks in*

Edge- How come I’m not in this match? I was one half of the world tag champs? We haven’t even got a rematch yet.
De Vannes- You can’t seem to make up your mind on if you want to team with Storm anymore. Half the time I think you want to team with your brother.
Edge- Look, man. I had a long talk with James the other day. We got things worked out. And we are ready. Put me in this match and I will prove it. Come on, De Vannes. Every team competing in this has been beat by Adams and Hernandez. They can’t beat us and they know it. I don’t give a hang what the rankings say. With Storm and Copeland back in the race, the game just changed.
De Vannes- OK, let’s do this. It’s unexpected. It’s unplanned. It’s RWA on HBO.
Dave- Well, that’s next. Let’s go to the ring!

Mickey- Our next match is a Fatal Five Way, with the winner receiving a Mid American Tag Title match for his team next week. Introducing first….

*Mickey is interrupted as Nicholas De Vannes comes out*

De Vannes- Mick, I’m sorry to interrupt you. But we’re gonna make one more change. After Adam left to make his way to the ring, somebody brought it to my attention that there was one more team here in RWA. So I thought “what the hell, let’s just put them all in it”. So now this match has become a six man match. We will have four on the outside and two in the ring. This one will be one fall to a finish. To make it fun, if there is not a winner after 20 minutes, nobody wins and The Dynamic Duo get another week off. Oh, here’s the other guy.

*”Bad to the Bone” plays as Jesse Ventura comes to the ring*

Mickey- OK. This is now a six man match. Same stipulation as what I said a moment ago. Introducing first, from La Ville des Morts weighing 247 pounds, GANGREL!!! From Boston, Massachussetts weighing 263 pounds, JOHN KRONUS!!! From Cameron, North Carolina weighing 215 pounds, JEFF HARDY!!! From Yatsuhiro, Japan weighing 222 pounds, HAYABUSA!!! From Toronto, Canada weighing 240 pounds, ADAM “EDGE” COPELAND!!! And, from San Diego, California weighing 285 pounds, JESSE “THE BODY” VENTURA!!!

GANGREL
vs
JOHN KRONUS
vs
JEFF HARDY
vs
HAYABUSA
vs
ADAM COPELAND
vs
JESSE VENTURA

Ventura and Kronus start. Ventura takes an early advantage with his strength. He throws Kronus around a bit before Kronus ducks a clothesline and hits a spinning back kick to the gut. Kronus tags Hayabusa and slingshots him in to clothesline Ventura. Hayabusa tags Edge in, who hits a back elbow on Jesse. Edge goes for a Small Package. Ventura is out at one. Edge charges in and Jesse grabs him by the throat and punches him. Jesse tags Gangrel in. He powerslams Edge for two. Jeff Hardy tags in. He and Gangrel hit a double back elbow on Edge. Kronus tags in and he and Gangrel stomp Edge. Kronus then grabs Gangrel and throws him out. A bunch of other stuff happened. Everybody wound up outside. Jeff Hardy jumped off the top rope and knocked them over. He and Hayabusa wound up on the inside. Hayabusa hits a Phoenix Splash on Hardy. At the two count, Kronus breaks the count with a 450 Splash. Before he can cover, Ventura grabs him in an Asian Spike. Edge spears both of them. Ventura falls out of the ring. Edge pins Kronus.

winner-Adam Copeland
Match time- 17:57

*a promo is shown for house shows coming up in…
Sedalia, Missouri at the Matthewson Expo Center
Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the Black River Coliseum
Nashville, Tennessee at the Fairgrounds*

Mickey- This is your main event. It is set for one fall and is for the Southern Title. Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada weighing 303 pounds, MAXX PAYNE!!! His opponent, accompanied BABY DOLL, is the champion. From San Antonio, Texas weighing 225 pounds, TULLY BLANCHARD!!!

MAXX PAYNE
vs
TULLY BLANCHARD

Maxx and Tully stand face to face as the ref advises them. The arena shakes as a “Maxx” chant echos through the building. Maxx and Tully keep things clean for a bit, showing good chain wrestling. Maxx gets Tully in a waist lock and manages to hold him down. Tully gets to the ropes and Maxx breaks, only to stomp the champ repeatedly as the crowd roars with approval. Maxx backdrops Blanchard over the top rop and follows him. Maxx slams Tully’s head into the announce table, then takes Larry's beer and drinks it, then throws Tully back in. Blanchard is waiting with kicks of his own. He drops an elbow on Maxx. Tully hits a high knee on Maxx, who goes over the top. The ref backs Tully off and Baby Doll rakes Payne’s eyes and slams his head into the ring apron. Tully comes out and DDT's Maxx on the outside. Tully throws Maxx back in the ring and stomps Maxx furiously, yelling for him to get up. Tully picks the 303 pound Maxx up and body slams him, then hits a knee from the middle rope for two. Tully jumps up and calls for the Slingshot Suplex. He waits for Maxx to get up and goes for it. Maxx drops down and throws a series of punches to Tully’s ribs. Tully doubles over in agony as Maxx drills him with punches. Maxx hits a Belly to Belly for two. Maxx goes to body slam Tully, he floats over. Maxx turns and Tully charges with a clothesline. Maxx snatches him down in the Payne Killer!!!! The fans are on their feet as Maxx screams and cranks back on the hold. Blanchard is fighting to get to the ropes but can't quite reach. Eddie Gilbert comes out and jumps on the apron. The ref goes to tell him to get down. Eddie keeps him distracted as Tully begins tapping! No ref though. Baby Doll gets in the ring and stomps Maxx, who releases the hold. Maxx grabs Baby Doll and slams an Elbow across her head! She goes down and rolls out. From the crowd, Dynamite Kid jumps the rail and pulls Eddie down. They start brawling up into the crowd. The crowd pops and the camera pulls back. AJ Styles in on the landing above Eddie and Dynamite! He leaps with a spinning body press, taking down the other two. Back in the ring, Maxx grabs the ref and tells him to get his head back in the match. Baby Doll, still stunned, slides a chain into Tully. He wraps it around his fist. Maxx turns and Tully BLASTS him. Maxx is on his feet, but he is out of it. Tully picks Maxx up and hits a huge Slingshot Suplex. Clutching his arm, Tully hooks the leg and scores the pin.

winner-Tully Blanchard
Match time- 26:09

*as the fans boo the decision loudly, we see Eddie, Dynamite, and AJ brawling in the crowd, none of them gaining a clear advantage. As the ref checks on Maxx, Tully is helped to the back by Baby Doll. He looks into the camera and says “That’s two!”*

Lance- Tully gets a big but shady win over Maxx Payne. H&H is making all kinds of racket to be sure.
Larry- Fans, we thank you for tuning in this week. For Lance Russell, Dave Brown, and Mickey Garagiola, I’m Larry Matysik. See you next week!

Verne talking in the third person...wtf?? and roflmao!!

Great win for Nakano!

Tully and Eddie talking the talk!

Ox had enuff of Raven's bitching and took it to him!

The champ interferes to make a point to Raven.

Edge has talked his way into the match but can he win this?

"a bunch of other stuff happened"..roflmfao...probably the best match description moment ever!

Edge pulls out the win!

Now it's main event time!

Crazy scrum to end this thing!

DK /Gilbert and Styles getting at each other was cool!

My question is there any heat with both Tully and Eddie using the same finisher? Could cause probs down the line!

Can't wait for Roddy to show!!

GREAT SHOW!

Tully's Slingshot Suplex is where his goes for a standard suplex, but drops his opponent forward first, so they bounce off the top rope and the momentum pushes them backwards. I am assuming this gives the suploex more push.

Eddie's Hot Shot is where Eddie, facing his opponent, picks them up by the waist and falls backwards, dropping his opponent throat first on the top rope.

Upon typing that out and reading it, Tully will probably be getting a better finisher soon. I just use it because its what he used.

Oh, Eddie's not changing his finisher. Great thing about the Hot Shot is he can hit it on anybody at anytime. Tully's move is really just a suplex.

Interesting stuff with Verne. This could be a fun character

I wonder what Edge is up to, have he and Storm really patched things up?

Tully with a huge win in the main event. Maxx has lost a lot of steam

Good stuff
