| Wrestleview.com:
It is believed that Nexus member Skip Sheffield suffered a broken left ankle at the Raw house show in Honolulu, reports the Wrestling Observer, and obviously will be out of action for some time.

| After Gabriel hit his 450 Splash on Darren Young, I thought he had hurt himself. He looked to be favoring his ribs. |

| Personally I find it one of the better things on tv, the only real big mistake I think they have made is letting Cena win at Summer Slam. _________________ |

| I think the Nexus angle is one of the best things that WWE has done in years. It's too bad about Skip though, he really plowed through the guys at Summerslam. Everyone in the Nexus is a good solid worker (maybe except Otunga) and I'm glad they all got hired. They should start replacing guys like Darren young and Skip Sheffield with guys from the new NXT that have been kicked out. |

| I would replace Sheffeild with Husky Harris until Skip is ready to come back. |

| I like the idea of Nexus, but not the execution of the storyline. It's taken way too long with not a lot happening. All the attacks are the same and once they start you can just fast forward through it and not miss a thing.
It should be a stable, going after mulitple titles at the same time as if they are 'taking control' of the comapny or brand as it were. This also makes me think season 2 of NXT will be doing the same to Smackdown. |

| I really hope they dont do the same with the NXT season 2 guys. That would be overkill. Also NXT season 2 didnt really have a lot of depth in terms of good wrestlers. Could you really buy Percy Watson as a member of a vicious heel stable? I doubt it. |

Without all the attacks they wouldnt have looked strong, they wouldnt have been seen as anything on Summer Slam. Chris Masters did a boring ass masterlock challenge for a long time, end result the masterlock was an effective finisher. Many people found the stuff with Drew McIntyre and Teddy Long boring, end result Drew McIntyre gets legit heel heat. WWE used to do jobber matches with guys for a long time before facing a real challenge, end result they were seen as somebodies when they faced a name opponent. NXT season 1 was boring, so is season 2, end result you got more established guys, without NXT season 1, people would seriously be scratching their head at Nexus.
While most of the attacks were the same, they were effective imo._________________ |

The Masterlock challenge rarely lasted more than about 5 minutes. It may have been boring to some, but they didn't spend 15 minutes on it. The Nexus attacks, have all taken about 10 minutes and once it starts, it's almost the exact same attack. After the first two, there's not really a reason to sit through the following 15. I understand they are building to something, hopefully something big, but the attacks are now nothing but filler. Giving the people screen time, all at the same time, and barely making an impact as individuals. To me, the attacks are the easy, lazy way of keeping these new wrestlers in the light. I liked it at first, but it got old quickly.

| To me it's all of waste of time that could be better spent building other story lines that would prove to be more valuable. You know each and every week, some poor bastard is going to get surrounded there is going to be this long stair down and then these very untalented green workers are going to beat them down with the exact same attack. There will not be a payoff, there hasn't been yet and they have milked this stupid angle all summer. |

| Ok here is where one of my problems with belivability kick in. the first beatdown was awesome no one saw it coming.
The beatdown of Bret as well. They came from no where with the entire wwe surrounding the ring. They attack bret backstage.
But when they atarted walking the hallways of Raw backstage and just taking people out. it became stupid. Fist of all, why? 2nd of all why was it being allowed? Where were the rest of the wwe wrestlers? does everyone hide in thier rooms and send out people one by one to get slaughtered like a bad slasher film? As RKU said if they were using thier group to Accru titles and stuff like that thats how you could take over but if you already achieved your goal of beicoming part on the WWE roster then what was the reason to keep attacking people? Poor, lazy writing. |

| At last Monday's RAW I thought WWE was on the right track by having all the Nexus guys fight in individual matches and then the only guy who got beat down without a chance was Darren Young. We'll see if that story line gets screwed up this Monday. |
